This renovation began after a significant water leak in the existing bathroom, giving the homeowners the opportunity to not only rectify the damage but create a space that better suited the way they live. The original bathroom and separate toilet were completely stripped back to the frame and rebuilt, with the layout redesigned to create a larger, more functional bathroom that feels open, practical and built to last.

As part of the project, the staircase was enclosed with a new dividing wall and door to improve the home's thermal efficiency by reducing heat loss between levels, making it easier and more cost-effective to keep the home warm during the cooler months. An attic ladder was also installed, providing safe and convenient access to valuable roof storage.
